Where did you come from?:Houston, TX
Did you tow it out or drive it?:Towed it
How long have you been off-roading?:11 years
What got you into 4x4s?:Started with a go-cart, will never end
Favorite part of the trip:Letting the Hemi scream up the dunes--hell yeah!
Funniest thing you saw happen:Mac from Yukon getting pants'd in the parking lot by RJ. That was the best pantsing ever. [Editor's note: Agreed! And the delayed reaction was priceless. It was like he was in denial.]
What was your least favorite part of the trip?:Not sleeping for two weeks before the trip only to show up with a truck that was 70 percent done. She was done by the end of the trip!
Hardtop, soft top, or no top:Soft top and wind jammer.
Would you want to work for a 4x4 mag now that you've met us and seen what we do?:Tough call--I felt Fred's pain when we were wrenching in lovely Hemet in a steel building in 120 degrees.
Would you kick out your co-driver if we had a supermodel to ride in your truck?:Let's see, 260-pound, hairy RJ or supermodel. Can I get back to you on that?
Would you do it again next year, or would it be asking too much of your battered body?:Count us in, we are gluttons for punishment.
Favorite truck on the trip (besides your own):Have to go with the other Sami--Tim's
