01. The front suspension is lifted with cast-iron drop-knuckles designed by Rancho to retain the factory suspension and steering geometry. These new knuckles have become the rule more than the exception and are the best thing to happen to IFS lift kits. They allow the 4-inch kit to retain the factory mounts for the upper A-arms and all of the steering components. The original brakes still bolt right up. Alignment shops prefer this design to kits that drop the upper A-arm mounting points and steering because it is easier to set them to factory alignment specs. View Related Article
