 With the new high-flow air...  With the new high-flow air hat, a new attachment bolt is included, which bolts into the hole on top of the throttle body. The new S-bolt was threaded down all the way into the throttle body and backed off a half turn.  Place the new air hat and...  Place the new air hat and hose over the throttle body and the S-bolt through the center hole on the air hat. Rotate the air hat and S-bolt together clockwise to tighten it down and seat it on the throttle body. To hold it all in place, put the washer and retaining nut on the exposed bolt. Tighten snugly, but allow for a bit of movement to install the rest of the system.  Insert the rubber grommet...  Insert the rubber grommet and metal insert in the small hole on the tube that faces the firewall. This will attach to the breather hose from the valve cover.  Put the filter on the air...  Put the filter on the air intake tube and push it on until it bottoms out. Once the filter is in place, the support bracket is put between the rubber filter base and the filter's hose clamp. This allows for articulation of the entire system without stressing any part. The hose clamp is tightened down to hold the filter and bracket in place. Total time, 20 minutes.  With the intake kit on the...  With the intake kit on the truck, we wanted to go test it out. The good ol' butt dyno says the engine has more horsepower and torque, and the truck actually had a bit more throttle response too.
