Before raising the truck, remove the shock-tower fasteners in the engine compartment. With the vehicle raised and secured, unbolt the stock sway-bar links, track bar, drag link, brake-hose brackets, and pitman arm, taking care not to damage the boots and bushings. (Sway bar removed for photo.) Unbolt the lower shock mounts and carefully lower the front axle to remove the stock front springs.
