The typical image of Indiana doesn't bring to mind extreme four-wheeling, but the Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, Indiana, has some of the toughest terrain in the state. The land used to be a gravel quarry until it was purchased by Troy Myers in 1995. Originally designed for motorcycles and ATVs, the park quickly grew to about 700 acres and now offers access to all sorts of off-road vehicles. The terrain varies vastly and encompasses every aspect of off-road challenges you could imagine. The facilities also include a convenient campground and a full service repair facility should the need arise.
As they have been doing for the past few years, the Badlands Off Road Park was host to the UROC BFGoodrich Extreme East #3 last July. As with any rockcrawling event, the action was spectacular. The competitors in this circuit are all willing to lend a hand for other teams, whether it be a part that someone needs, helping roll a vehicle back over, or anything else that might come up.
