Picture this: You're a young couple with kids who can't afford to risk damaging your daily driver by taking it out for a weekend of off-roading. But you still want to show off your 4x4 and hang out with a bunch of people who share your passion. What do you do? If it were us we'd plan on attending the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals when it comes to town. Nowhere else can you bench race, ride in a monster truck, watch people drive through a mud bog and obstacle course, and drool over the coolest 4x4 hardware without even having to lock your front hubs.
To kick things off for the 2005 Jamboree season, we flew down to Fredericksburg, Texas, to check out the O'Reilly Auto Parts 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals. If you like what you see, you still have time to attend the Summer Jamboree Nationals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania (July 8-10), the Bond Auto Part Nationals in Essex Junction, Vermont (Aug. 6-7), or the Fall Jamboree in Indianapolis (Sept. 23-25).
