2006 Rockport Off-Road Park Schedule

Ultimate Adventure host park announces big plans for wheelers during '06.

After a successful 2005 season of events at Rockport Off-Road Park, the owners are announcing an action-packed schedule for 2006. The park as a whole has seen a large percentage of growth in competitors, trail riders and spectators - more than doubling since the 2004 season. Their focus continues to be to provide a large variety of events and opportunities for 4WD enthusiasts.

The RROCK series had a very successful first season. The Top Shop series has proven to be a very unique event with ever-growing popularity. The shop teams and spectators alike are enjoying the variety of disciplines and strategies involved in this event.

They have set our dates for the RROCK Rockcrawling Series, Top Shop events and more for 2006. They are offering the venue for sponsorship opportunities at this early date for the 2006 season. Product sponsorship, contingency programs or overall sponsorship for the 2006 season are options.

The park offers a large variety of options for competitors, trail riders and spectators. Please let us know if you have any questions. These events and dates are available for media coverage.

January 1st, 2006: 3rd Annual New Years Day Ride (Largest event of 2005)

April 1st-2nd: RROCK Rockcrawl Competition

April 28th-30th: 7th Annual HowiePalooza (The owners say, "We're very fortunate to get this very popular Midwest trailride event at the park this year!")

May 6th-7th: National Off-Road Shop Team Challenge Regionals. 10 shops compete for a spot in the National Fall Competition

May 19th & 20th: Two Rivers Jeep Club Safari.

May 27th: Womens Competion for the Susan G. Kohmen breast cancer foundation. Women compete on multiple stages.

June 24th & 25th: RROCK Rockcrawl Competion

Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st: National Off-Road Shop Team Challenge Nationals

Oct. 21st and 22nd: RROCK Rockcrawl Competition Finals

They also have 6 ATV events planned for the upcoming year.

Rockport Off-Road Park is adding a shower house/restroom facility, 50' x 30' covered pavillion and a complete campgrounds. A new vendor area has been established with available electricity during the RROCK and Top events. A portable announcer stand has been built and is in use during all competitions. Professioanlly made DVDs by Litfuse Customs are available of all of the events at the park.

They are currently building a 1986 Toyota truck along with updating the 1991 YJ and are traveling to several events this year including the Katemcy Rocks Kickoff Ride and making stops in a couple of other parks in Texas. They will also be attending the Dakota Challenge in September with 2 rigs and a large trailer. Other runs will be planned. Product sponsorship and advertisement are available as they take 2 rigs and a 53-foot RV toy hauler to several events. These vehicles will also get continued exposure from daily presence at the park.
