Kurt Hala was our trail leader for the day, piloting his CJ-7 sitting on Swampers made possible by a spring-over suspension done at his shop, Kodiak Off-Road. He showed us right from the beginning that a little water on top of the dirtpack was more than enough to make almost every uphill obstacle a tire-spinning endeavor.
