It's rare that we see Barracudas,... It's rare that we see Barracudas, period. But how about a 4x4 Barracuda? This was a first for us, but obviously not for the pilot behind the wheel who used those balding Ground Hawgs for all they're worth. This "Git R Done" green Dodge... This "Git R Done" green Dodge was throwing itself through the pit for much of the weekend, with total disregard for its passengers inside. After it launched toward the sky, it came nose-first out of the hole only to be stuck a few feet later. It was a valiant effort. OK, S-10 lovers, eat your... OK, S-10 lovers, eat your hearts out. Check out this front Dana 44 axle-equipped, high-riding S-10 Blazer on SSR Swampers with the top rear section and windows removed. Because of the original two-door's window slant, this chopped Blazer closely resembled an '80-'96 Bronco with the top off. (Boy, we probably just offended both S-10 Blazer owners and Bronco owners with just one sentence, didn't we?) How cool is mudding a van?... How cool is mudding a van? Not only can you still go boggin' with 4WD and big ol' tires, but you can do it with nine people! Last time we covered this... Last time we covered this event, Mike Krejci was having some mechanical difficulties and we missed him in the mud. He had his truck running well this year, screaming across the mud on military GM axles at decibels far past safe for the human ear. This custom four-linked CJ... This custom four-linked CJ was riding well on Bighorn air shocks while being directed by full hydraulic steering. It was working great on the trail for him, but he got thrown a little sideways in the pit and we're guessing that full-hydraulic steering plus a floppy suspension gave him a big disadvantage while trying to pull out of this little mishap. Every year brings mild to... Every year brings mild to wild mud runners into Moyie Springs. People show up in serious mud boggers, or just the spare truck they have out back. Ben Spinney's newest creation... Ben Spinney's newest creation was built from what was left of his original truck, the Exoskelotoy, featured in Apr. '04. Ben proved that this new ride still has what it takes to be an ultimate all-around off-road romper, while spinning 42-inch Iroks just as easily as his old 38-inch SX Swampers. Dale Mangum's blackout buggy... Dale Mangum's blackout buggy started life as a Toyota, and is still mostly 'Yota. He's added some four-links, tube, and air shocks, but it's still Toyota motor and axles underneath, even with 39.5-inch Iroks.
