Fullsize trucks are always cool on the trail since they take a skilled driver to stuff them through the gnarly obstacles, and Phil Elisio squeezed his '80 J-10 Jeep up and over the big Blue Rock boulders. The 39.5 Iroks work well with the 110-inch wheelbase and 1-ton axles, while a Howell fuel-injected 360 V-8 kept the truck moving forward and the cabin warm. Phil's homebuilt tubular flatbed protects the rear of the truck better than sheetmetal.
