Over 30 years ago the Vegas Valley 4-Wheelers realized this incredible area had great recreational potential and started hosting an annual Hump N Bump off-road event. Today the event continues to grow, with participants rolling in from all across the country, and all are guaranteed good time. The terrain around Logandale features over 200 miles of trails and is chockfull of challenging red rock sandstone obstacles, sand dunes, steep-walled canyons, and remote desert trail runs. Headquarters for the Hump N Bump is Logandale's fairgrounds in the middle of town, and most of the trails are just a few minutes away. The town of Logandale is approximately 60 miles north of Las Vegas on Interstate 15 and just a few minutes northwest of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The Hump N Bump is an all-volunteer event, and its proceeds go to the Southern Nevada Trail Fund to help the fight of keeping public lands open for recreationists. Saturday after the trail rides, most folks hang out at the fairgrounds swapping trail stories, eating BBQ, and participating in the club's famous raffle.
