Yes, sometimes editors' vehicles and projects find their way onto the cover. They all do it. Let's humor them, shall we? Many of you will remember this shot of editor Rick Pewe's rolled flattie on the rocks from Sept. '96. And many of you would be right in saying it's showing its best side. This shot was one of the few cover shots we staged for dramatic effect and implied action (It looks like it had just rolled, right?). We prefer the real deal but rollovers in nature don't always happen by the magazine's deadline. If it does happen, let's hope one of our staffers is standing close enough to get the shot! View Related Article
