A Chevy 3500 4x4 dualie is an exceptional find because they came with 454ci big-block engines, SM465 transmission, and a NP205 transfer case. These trucks make great flatbed tow rigs and good vehicles to scavenge heavy-duty parts from. Building a dualie into a hardcore trail rig wouldn't be our first choice, but with the right modifications and suspension, a dualie can be used for mild trail running and can make a good camp rig.
