The recent changes in the Utah lift laws left Chad feeling a little red because he could have gone a few inches higher than the Skyjacker 8-inch suspension lift. The new Utah lift law states that “a person may not operate on any highway within the state a motor vehicle that is mechanically altered or changed to a frame height of more than 26 inches for a motor vehicle with GVW of at least 4,500 pounds and less than 7,500 pounds.” To do your own math on the new Utah lift law (House Bill 49) go to www.state.ut.us. View Related Article
