The 3/4-ton springs enjoy massive travel thanks to a homemade cantilever shackle set-up. The shackle-flip, along with the factory blocks net about 4 inches of lift. A welded Dana 60 keeps the rear tires barking.

Here you can see where the boxed shackle brackets have been moved forward to make room for the cantilever arm to swing. Trailer lights take the place of the stock units which were lost in the massive trimming of the tub.

A Lock-Rite fills the Dana 44 swapped from a 1974  D200. Plans were in the works for 38-inch Swampers and 15-inch rims to replace the 16.5 military tires. Can you spot the refrigerator-coil power steering fluid cooler?

The stock 360 burbles at all angles thanks to the rebuilt Holley two-barrel and MSD 6 ignition. Rick converted the stock V-twin compressor to provide on-board air. The fender wells were casualties of the sawzall.
