As a little treat to us, Pw sent David Kennedy, Fred Williams, and myself down to experience a race like no other race in the world: The Baja 1000. The Baja 1000 isn't just a race. It's one of the biggest annual events to start in Ensenada, Mexico. There are parties, meetings, parades, vendors, some eye candy, and good food, and you'll get to see some of the best drivers and their teams hanging out in some of the best bars you'll ever patronize. But Williams and I needed to get our gear together first, because we were not only going to the race, we were actually riding along with Kreg Donahoe's team in a race truck! What did that mean to us? Break out the best safety equipment we could because Donahoe is no pansy behind the wheel, and there was no way we were going to miss the celebration Saturday night after the race because our asses were broken due to lack of proper equipment. We visited Parker Pumper in Mira Loma, California, to check out what devices were available to keep us safe during competition.
