Ford and Nissan Concerns
Great mag. I have been reading four-wheeling mags for at least 20 years. I have to say, though, you gotta rip those Ford hubcaps off the Chevy tow project ("Towing the Load," June '03.) I have always preferred Chevy to Ford in theory, but the thermal actuators in the front axle kept me from its more recent products. I have no problems with Ford, having had one for 140,000 miles with only one IFS repair and one tranny rebuild. However, having those Ford hubcaps on a Chevy is wrong! Ditch those and run the plain steel rims. The purists will thank you.John ReitzElyria, OH
You weren't the only one who nailed us on the Ford hubcap issue, and we were surprised at what a clamor it made. Don't worry-the hubcaps, wheels, and tires will soon be replaced with bigger and better units for your viewing pleasure.
