Holeshot
B&M Racing has been working on some mighty nice torque converters for your newer Chevy truck or SUV, and the Holeshot is the sweet thing that'll give you the extra edge when it counts. Available in either 2,000- or 2,400-rpm stall speeds, the Holeshot has helped improve track times by as much as three-tenths of a second on the same truck. It offers a 2.0x torque multiplier for more top-end efficiency and less driveline shock, unlike other torque converters. Information: B&M Racing, 818.882.6422, www.bmracing.com
Chaotic F-150
Total Chaos has gained a respectable reputation building some of the sweetest Toyota prerunner suspensions on the market, and the company has now expanded its line to fit the current Ford F-150s. The T.C. kit replaces the upper control arm with a chromoly unit featuring 1-inch uniballs to address the added travel that the 2.5 Sway-A-Way coilover shocks give. No custom mods are necessary though, because T.C. provides hardware to add that coilover in the stock location. The system enables the owner to go from stock height to 2 inches of lift.
