Randy Ellis Designs has a Sleekster Light Bar that mounts directly to the frame, is super tough, and doesn't look big and bulky like a brushguard. The problem with Toyota front axles is that the brake backing plates can catch debris or be bent, but are necessary to keep proper spacing on the knuckle. Trail-Gear has come up with a simple solution and is now selling these backing-plate eliminators for solid-axle Toyotas.
