In addition to the tools mentioned last month you will need the raw materials shown here to build the shock hoops. The main part of the hoop is 1 3/4-inch, 0.120-inch wall tubing. The brace is 1 1/2-inch, 0.120-inch wall tubing. The weld tabs are stamped units from A&A Manufacturing. A fabricator or an exhaust shop should be able to bend the tubing for you if you don’t have a bender.
