While we can't divulge too many secrets, what we can tell you is that this year's trip will be the most technology enriched. We'll be updating this thread in the coming weeks and.....wait for it...posting actual updates from the UA itself. We're inviting UA participants as well to add photos and commentary about the trip, both before, during, and after the adventure. Have a question about a truck? Want to know what broke? This will be the place to check. Ok. Enough typing. Who's ready for UA?

2012 Ultimate Adventure Official Thread |

This may have been covered before...not sure. But until 4 months ago I never heard of Internal Bead Balancing and I'm sure there are many more out there that have never heard of it either. I research it alot before I bought them and I ended of with product from www.cfmt.biz There are others out there but the folks I bought from were awesome to deal with and had the best deal. I guess it does not matter if you mention them or not, I just thought maybe a story about the Internal Balancing would be great just to let folks know. Also wanted to add that with all the very high dollar things we do for our rigs.... this is a low dollar purchase that takes so much vibrating headache away... most anybody can afford these and have a great bang for the buck. For those of you who have never heard of internal balancing beads for the tires ....check it out ASAP. For those of you who have but did not like the price ....here ya go A couple of months ago I found a vendor on ebay selling the same type of Internal Balance Beads as Dyna Beads but for a much better price. I think they might still be on ebay if you search Internal Tire Balancing...or the website is www.cfmt.biz The price is great and they offer free shipping on amounts for trucks and 4x4's. I used them on my truck and love the results...no more vibration. I have conversed with guys that own tires from 265/75R16 up to 40's and military tires that swear by them. Dually's too I hear. It took me 45 minutes to install them myself. I did not even take the tires off my truck. Just take the tire of the ground, let the air out, squirt the bead with soapy water, let soak a minute, start hitting the sidewall with a 5lbs hammer as you turn the tire...poof the bead pops loose, use a funnel to get the beads in ( I used a Trani funnel as it is longer), air the tire back up and move to the next tire. Anyway, the last two months have been great and according to the company I will not have to worry about the balancing til the next tire change.....ahhhh sweet relief. Hope this helps some folks....it sure helped me. I'm sorry.. I totally forgot :o I used the beads on my 2000 Ford Excursion with 33x12.5x17 Cooper Discoverer STT Mud Terrains.

FYI on tire balancing |
