5 After marking the carrier bearing caps so you will be able to install them in the same position as they were removed, remove the bearing cap bolts and pull the adjusters, caps, bearing races, and carrier out together. Marking the caps is important because they are side-specific and machined to a precise tolerance; mix them up and you risk messing up the centersection. View Related Article
