To keep the electromagnetic coil from spinning (since it has wires coming out of it and through the axlehousing), a coil retainer is provided that holds the coil in place. It simply bolts on using the lower bearing-cap bolt on the passenger side. We basically had the ECTED in the axle, so Adams pushed in the center pin and buttoned up the case. View Related Article
