The most common and popular auto for all but the heavyweight dudes is the GM TH350. A square pan with a corner whacked off is a good ID, and the four-bolt rear housing pattern is another. These units can be built, beefed, adapted, and modified more than most other trannies, and they have found their way against Chrysler and Ford engines with adapters. Be wary of the word METRIC embossed on the pan though. Just say no to these imitation low-lifes that are really TH200s. View Related Article
