This ring is one component of the DynaLoc that makes it unique. The spacer rings are different depending on what axle hubs you are running, and this is something to be aware of when purchasing a set. Unlike other manufacturers' hubs, you need the specific spacer whether you have a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge front Dana 60, or if you have one of the many different Dynatrac hubs such as the shorty hubs that keep the DynaLocs protected within the wheel.
