3. The ring gear bolts directly to the locker, and the bolts are torqued to 45-60 lb-ft. This is a simple task. The only real problem is holding the entire assembly steady. This can be done by securing the assembly in a vise or bearing press. Make sure the bearings aren't damaged or crushed by the sides of the vice. View Related Article
