With the additional strain on your steering that comes from bigger tires, it's not a bad idea to put a filter on your steering system, as small particles can quickly kill a power steering pump. Most steering filters go inline from the box back to the pump where the fluid is flowing but is not under high pressure, such as this one from Lee Manufacturing.
