Jeep Wrangler Seat Bracket Install - The Right Track

A few More Inches Out of Your Front Seat

Wranglers are not the biggest vehicles on the planet, and there are more than a few of us out there that have some trouble squeezing behind the steering wheel of a TJ, even in Unlimiteds. Doug Misch came along and figured out how to move the front seats back a few more inches with his Big Boy Brackets for the comfort of us bigger folks.

  • The Big Boy Brackets are simple enough to install and come with all the supplied hardware to move your seat back a few inches.

  • First unbolt the four bolts that hold the seat on the body. After this, we suggest you follow the supplied directions on the easiest way to get the seat brackets to line up, one at a time.

  • Once you get the brackets lined up, pull the seat out and tighten the bolts into the floorpan. Once this is done, place the seat back on the Big Boy Brackets and tighten accordingly. Now you should have more than enough legroom for even the biggest boys.
