The Ultimate Carb Shootout
It ain’t pretty, but at least it smells bad. Despite some pretty scary rattles and knocks, the Buick 455 in the ’45 is extremely consistent and made a good test bed to pit one carb against another. The least stressful part of our testing was the dunes, where the 455 was opened up to whir the Boggers.
