The NV4500 is an extremely strong five-speed transmission used in late-model Chevy and Dodge trucks. While the internals of the tranny for these two trucks are the same, the exterior bolt patterns, input shafts, and output shafts are different, so be sure to research your proposed swap to see which version of the tranny is preferable.
