We all use our 4x4s in different ways, but we often need a single truck tire that will work in a variety of ways. Some of you are into rockcrawling or mud bogging exclusively. Others like camping, hunting, and exploring and need a tire to take them wherever their front bumper leads them. We find that a well-rounded truck tire can do a lot of things. In case you’ve been hiding from humans in a cave, we’ll catch you up to speed. Bigfoot is a wild hairy manlike creature known to stand 7-15 feet tall, with red eyes for seeing in the dark. He eats deer and beef jerky, lives in every state in the nation (but only in the most secluded parts), has big feet, and generally hides from humans. At least that is what people who believe in Bigfoot mostly agree on.

We figured that if we could find and possibly photograph Bigfoot we could remove any doubt, sell the photos for millions of dollars, and spend the rest of our lives goofing off and going four-wheeling. Our plan was foolproof, so we rounded up some buddies, bolted on some new load range E Rockers, packed up the truck, and headed to the north woods.

But those people do not realize that Bigfoot (or Sasquatch, as is his pseudo–Native American name) is actually attracted by loud howling sounds similar to those made by the over-the-shoulder lugs and large aggressive tread block design. The traction was great and the tires did not fling an exceptional amount of gravel. Prior testing has shown the Rocker as a great rockcrawling and mud tire, and now we can add Gigantopithecus-like creature hunting tire to that list.

At times during our hunting expedition we had to haul into the woods on our back all our camping gear, night vision gear, camera gear, nets, glow sticks, food, rain gear, bug spray, rope, water, radios, satellite receivers, computers, infrared units, inflatable mattresses, scuba gear, silent hunting clothing, deer scent, mountain lion defense (aka Rambo) knives, bear spray, solar camping stove, knocking sticks, and various other top-secret Sasquatch research equipment. This part of the trip reminded us that (A) we are out of shape, and (B) we think Pit Bull should make hiking boots with the same high traction capability as the Rocker tires.

The Rockers are very aggressive; however, they still work well in a variety of terrain. The large sidewall lugs offer additional traction and protection in severe terrain (just the type of terrain where Bigfoot likes to hide).
