After an informative tour at the Smith Family Sugar Farm (802.869.2417, smithfamilymaple@hotmail.com) to see how maple syrup is made, we headed over to wheel at the Mettowee Mud Boggers Park in Granville, New York (www.mettoweemudboggers.com), owned by Ralph and Clare Jameson. There we appreciated the trail leadership of Doyle Ross and the members of the Northeast Offroad Vehicle Alliance (nova4x4.org).
