With the transmission back in and the drivetrain buttoned up, we headed back to Western Fabricators for a belly skidplate and some rocker protection. The skidplate is a piece of 3/8-inch plate that runs from an engine crossmember to the transmission crossmember. We found that sometimes a simple smooth skid under just the delicate parts is lighter and just as helpful as full belly armor plating. Read Article
