If there were an award for the rig that looked the most top-heavy, it would have gone to Chuck Wigham’s ’85 Toyota Land Cruiser. Though the truck may seem tall, it worked extremely well. In fact, Wighams’s well-calculated line choices along with help from his co-driver, Mike Rasmussen, allowed the FJ-60 to shine on the UA. With only minor issues here and there, Wigham got to enjoy the majority of the trip from behind the wheel instead of under the hood. So maybe life is better at the top!
