Some of you may not be familiar with Dave Chappelle and his awesome Amigo, but many of you dedicated readers will undoubtedly recognize Tom Boyd. Tom has been on every UA since the beginning and usually pilots his classic Bronco, which has taken on many shapes and colors over the years. With the Bronco undergoing yet another transformation, Tom and his friend Dave opted to take Dave’s awesome Amigo. While we never thought we’d see an Amigo on the trail, much less on the UA, we were impressed by how well this pea-green machine tackled the obstacles with ease time and time again.

• Transfer Case: Divorced mount dual Toyota mini truck cases with a Trail Gear doubler
• Front Axle: High-pinion Dana 60, Superior axleshafts, Spartan Locker, 5.38 gears
• Rear Axle: Currie Rock Jock, ARB Air Locker, 5.38 gears

Suspension

• Springs & Such: Custom 3-link front with Fox coilovers, 4-link rear with cantilever and air bags, Daystar bumpstops
• Tires & Wheels: 40x13.50 MTRs on 17-inch Raceline Monster beadlocks
• Steering: Hydraulic assist

• Custom cage and bodywork, Warn M8000 winch, 109-inch wheelbase
