Just as important as having a tail gunner to round up the rear of the pack, the group needs a mid gunner too. Since the UA came through Alabama five years ago, it has adopted Southern-fried cronies Keith Bailey and Sam Gillis. Both are diehard wheelers who love off-roading and use the UA as their personal work/official vacation for the year. Sam is currently serving our country overseas, but managed to have his two-week leave coincide with the end of the Ultimate Adventure. We were glad to have Keith back again and hope to see Sam on next year’s trip once he is finished serving his tour in Iraq. Thanks for your service, Sam!
