As the official fabricator for the 2011 Ultimate Adventure project truck, Randy Ellis Design handcrafted the ’11 UA F-150 into a formidable IFS wheeler capable of going just about anywhere. RED did such a good job building the official rig that the company managed to beat the build deadline and build its own Suzuki Samurai for the trip. With decades of experience, owner Randy Ellis and co-driver Justin Scheller crafted an incredible little ninja wheeler that worked practically flawlessly on the trip. Since the UA truck held together so well, Randy and Justin had plenty of time to help others keep their beaten and broken rigs on the move. They were truly a great and talented duo that we were glad to have on the trip.

• Transmission: 5-speed
• Transfer Case: 4.16 Calmini gears
• Front Axle: Dana 30 from a ’86 Jeep CJ with Dana 44 outers, chromoly axles, ARB Air Locker, 5.38 gears
• Rear Axle: Dana 44 front from a ’76 Jeep Wagoneer, chromoly axles, ARB Air Locker, 5.38 gears

Suspension

• Springs & Such: Custom spring-over axle front with a modified YJ spring pack, custom 3-link rear with Walker Evans air shocks
• Tires & Wheels: 37-inch BFG Krawlers on 17x8.5 KMC beadlocks
• Steering: PSC Motorsports power steering
