Send us your Video Whoops!
An exciting new feature on 4wheeloffroad.com is Video Whoops! Whether you're rolling, stuck, swamped or winched, we want to see it! For you and your friends' safety, please send us genuine Whoops! caught on tape, not staged stunts. Try to keep the language clean, but feel free to send raw (literally and figuratively) footage. We'll bleep out your verbal indiscretions.
Here are some basic guidelines: Send us all relevant footage, but please keep total footage to no more than 15 minutes. Final featured video clips will be edited to between 1.5 to 2 minutes in length. Getting stuck is cool, but recovering is even cooler! We want to see you being winched out, pulled out, or just powering out with plenty of spinning and splatter!
Video Whoops! footage is accepted on Mini-DV tape (preferred), or burned on Mac-formatted CD-R / DVD-R's as a .mov, .avi, or .mpg. The size of the clip should be 320 x 240. Since submitted media cannot be returned, if you want to keep a copy, we recommend getting the footage duplicated, or save it on your computer and burn a DVD before sending us the tape or disc. Videos will be posted at the editor's discretion.
