Dear 4-Wheel & Off-Road,
A buddy of mine found a good mud hole, so we took our trucks out to play. But after a few runs, the 35-inch mudders and Detroit Locker weren't enough to make it out. It took three hours, two other trucks, and a Hi-Lift Jack to recover the truck.

I was attempting to forge this pond in Cedar River, Michigan, but found the hole instead. It took a '52 Willys to pull my '84 Ford Ranger out.

Dear 4-Wheel & Off-Road,
Here is my truck stuck. It took 111/42 hours and two trucks to pull my '79 Bronco out. Surprisingly, I kept the truck running the whole time. A new power steering pump and gearbox were needed, not to mention the interior carpet needed to be cleaned. When we tried to cross back we avoided hydro-locking the engine again. My poor truck was able to drive us home two hours away, and we learned our lesson the second time.
