Lemon Lake
After a great afternoon fishing we decided it would be fun to drive through a mud puddle near the edge of the lake. As soon as I hit the hole, my Cherokee dropped like it was in quick sand and became buried up to the axles. We could not get it out that night, so we came back the next day with more recovery equipment and a bigger tow vehicle. Unfortunately the lake had risen overnight and now my Jeep was sitting in water up to the doors. It took six straps, a chain, lots of wood, a shovel, and a Hi-Lift jack, but we finally got it free.

Down Under Water
While wheeling in Western Australia we came across this hole, which honestly didn't look that deep when we put the spotlights on it. I guess Jeeps don't float.

Snow Rated
When we got our first snowfall I decided to move my JK to the backyard. Somehow I missed the driveway and ended up in a 2-foot snowdrift where my factory 29.5-inch radials were all but useless. Luckily I had put tow hooks on the back, since Jeep didn't think this particular "trail-rated" model needed them!

No Go Cabo
While driving out to the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, I ran across a section of the road that was covered in a little more water than usual. I decided to go for it, and my dualie ended up sliding off to the side into a deep mud hole. I had to carry my daughter out on my shoulders, then proceeded to call a local with a backhoe to pull me out!

T-Intersection
We were going down a muddy trail when the Bronco started to slide a bit off the trail. Usually that's no big deal, but when you add in a heavy rain, you end up with a wilderness makeover.

Knew Fenders
I sort of knew that I wouldn't make it through, but I didn't think I would sink the truck to the top of the fenders!
